Lis Wiehl was born on August 19th, 1962. She is a former Fox News legal analyst.
She is adjunct professor of Law, New York Law School. In the past, she was an the associate professor at Law University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning shows as well as hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was born and raised in Yakima and attended West Valley High School. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from Barnard College, followed by a master of arts in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past for The US Attorney. She worked as the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief investigatory attorney for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's imposition. Between 1995 and 2001, she was a tenured law professor in the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle and was in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. Between 2001 and 2017 Wiehl worked as a legal analyst for Fox News.
