The family was raised in Rochester, New York, Sharp was an avid musician and was a clarinet player as well as piano and cello at the prestigious Hochstein School of Music. The Boston Conservatory offered her a grant for her school's theatre. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp began her journey in the stage world after graduation at the Conservatory. She played in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted Off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the improv comedy Eat the Runt, she was a variety of characters. Sharp has also performed in Abyssinia and Aida and also Thunder Knockin, Jitney as well as The Producers. She was even a reader of August Wilson's Come and Gone. Apart from her roles in stage and screen, Sharp has several other creative projects that she's written or co-written. Sharp is still performing and is in the process of putting together the full-length album. Sharp, who is often in front or behind camera and in the recording studio for music, also loves staying in shape. Sharp studies Krav Maga as well as boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, go hiking and taking a long road trip. Sharp lives with her spouse and two children and lives in Los Angeles.
