Niykee's personal highlights include being selected by a scout to join Snoop at the YouTube Brandcast, in May 2013 and composing songs in spite of the chaos over the last few years. At present, she is a magnet to aspiring producers, she regularly combs through beats she receives and realizes that most are able to spark song ideas. She states that she can determine if the beat is good in just 5 seconds. And then, a brand new track will come into her brain. When I am playing my guitar on my front porch, words start to flow. A majority times, it's completed in just thirty minutes. Niykee says that as she matures as a singer-songwriter, the painful memories of her childhood are an inspiratoin. The pain I felt growing up and losing my younger sister are evident in my songs, even if they're not literal. My music is shaped by it and I can see the bigger picture beneath everything. This is one of the elements that is important to me.
