Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of the charts with her electro pop music after getting the public's attention with "Starry Eyed," and "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. The soprano's quirk and her ability to write catchy but emotionally sincere songs puts her at the forefront for contemporary mainstream music along with the art and indie pop scene. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign her and started preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
