Bellamy Young

Young began her acting career in the field of acting the theatre. As Mary in the original ensemble, she made her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in 1997 on Broadway in 1997. The show was performed Off Broadway for Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We Roll Along (1994) and Randy Newman's Faust, (1995-1996). The actress made her debut on television in the year 1995. She had an appearance on the show as the character Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap drama Another World. The actress guest-starred in the show Law & Order in 1997 and 1998, playing two characters. She debuted in 1999 in a character on Black and White, a crime-drama. Then she appeared in several independent films. She began guest-starring in television dramas and comedies from the beginning of 2000. These include The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Between 2000 and the year 2011, Young was a regular guest on more than 30 appearances on tv shows. Young was among the regular actors on Peacemakers The Peacemakers, a USA Network television series that was aired in 2003. After nine episodes, the show was cancelled after just one season. Her character was featured in the Lifetime show For the People, a legal drama. Atty. Agnes Hunt in 2002, in the NBC period drama American Dreams as Diane Shaw in 2003. Later, she appeared on the NBC soap opera Scrubs as the character Dr. Grace Miller in 2004 and as the assistant State Attorney Monica West on CBS's CSI: Miami (2005-06), and on ABC Primetime soap opera Dirty Sexy Money (2008-2009) in the role of Ellen Darling, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Darling family.
