When he was four years old and his parents divorced, he and his family moved to College Station, Texas, and by the time he was in high school, he knew he wanted to go into acting. He enrolled in college for three weeks. "Things did not work out for me, and it did not work out for them, so they had to end their relationship." He then moved to New York and studied at the Circle in the Square Theatre School. The actors reunited in The Last Word, where they were screen lovers. Stuart Fink directed the movie. Shirley MacLaine was also present in the film. When the film was made, Sadoski had just divorced his ex-wife Hope while Seyfried had split from Long that September.
