Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimmyenez, September 2, 1966)[3][4][5[3][4][5), is an American and Mexican actress. Her career began in Mexico with her starring role in the television drama Teresa (1989-1991) as and the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she won an Ariel Award nomination. She quickly made herself known in Hollywood by appearing in films such as Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) as well as Dogma (1999). Hayek's role as Frida Kahlo as a painter, in Frida (2002) The film, which is a biographical feature she co-produced and won her the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[66. She also received her Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Hayek continued to produce her films, and also starred in action-oriented film Once Upon a Time in Mexico in the years following.
